Spells are sentient beings, named and shaped by the wizards that captured them, utterly unnatural, infinity divisible, always trying to escape, can copy spells into book quickly and cheaply, but risks spells breaking free and taking other spells with them. Spells may be the origin of memetic gods, lots of spell demons run loose in the land of towers. All spells have true names, made by the wizards that made them, altered by the wizards copying the spell, the wizard that made and named the spell has complete control of it if they invoke its name.
Towers in the land of towers: first few floors visible, and relatively normal (for sorcerer towers) upper levels connect to stairwells but exist in other dimensions, which can be seen out the window; powered and unpowered towers exist. where unpowered towers only have the floors in this reality, they can be recharged somehow

An old adventurer has been wandering the queens road, in the underland for a long time, once found a place in the deep dark that had a waterfall of light (like northern lights), when he held his hands under it, the light pooled in his hands, when he drank it, he heard the song of creation ringing at the edges of reality, and within himself, and in that moment he felt filled with purpose and light.
